Thank You x100

I started this blog on July 1st, 2014. I was so unsure about making it that I didn’t even write my first post until a week later.

I never ever expected that my words would be read by someone else. I never expected to be thanking all 100 people who followed.

I know that 100 may not even seem like an accomplishment to some, but to me it means the world. I started writing here because I felt I had a million thoughts and ideas that I just couldn’t express to the people in my life. I needed an outlet, and I found one.

This blog became my own little corner online, where I could be unapologetically me and talk about whatever I wanted. I’ve written about common things like beauty products and music, and at times gone a little deeper and discussed troublesome relationships with friends and deep insecurities. With no set theme for content, I was sure that my posts would be buried deep in the caverns of the Internet, where no one would care to find them. I’m pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong. It’s a nice feeling, knowing that more than 100 people stopped by and read something they connected with. Almost as nice as finding content that I’ve connected with myself.

So this brief, scattered post is dedicated to all of you. To anyone who has ever liked a post, a comment, or followed this blog. Thank you for validating my ideas and helping me feel not so crazy.

At least I know that if I am crazy, I’m in the company of 100 very amazing people.

  1. Yay for reaching one hundred followers. I definitely feel the same way as you about the followers. I am so thankful for everyone who reads the little I have to say. You’ll have one hundred more in no time.

  2. I think you have a fabulous blog and you are a great writer. I started reading and couldn’t stop. We have alot of similarities. I’m a very honest person and don’t really beat around the bush much. I’m kind, don’t get me wrong. But I’m also honest. I’m not a people pleaser, but I am very out going. I live my life and if people want to be a part of it; great! And if not, thanks ok too. I love your blog and look forward to reading much more!
